Academic standards
AGST Alliance seeks to ensure that our graduates are recognised as well-equipped leaders for relevant mission and ministry. This includes achieving an appropriate academic level recognised in the Christian and secular academic spheres in Asia and elsewhere.
A Program Committee, comprising specialists in their field, administers each program. Each committee works with the Program Director to ensure appropriate standards are maintained.
Accreditation
Most of our AGST Alliance programs are accredited by the Asia Theological Association for 2015-2020.
Specifically, the programs with ATA accreditation are:
- Master of Theology in Education
- Doctor of Education
- Doctor of Philosophy in Education
- Master of Theology in Theology
- Doctor of Philosophy in Theology
Also accredited are our Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Postgraduate
Diploma in Theology. These are awarded to students who have completed only the
MTh/EdD coursework. They are not a ‘lesser’ qualification for those who have
failed to come up to an acceptable MTh/EdD standard.
